I have done the overproduction thing too. On my best video I just talked and did a walk around explaining an outdoor project I was working on. I did almost no editing, it is an outlier to my normal content. It was public but really intended for friends. It’s over 10,000 views, gets more every week, and I have just over a hundred subscribers after a year.
