I Published My 100th Item on Medium
They say write what you know, so I have stuck to thrift, eCommerce, and related management themes. These are mostly super-niche, so I don’t expect tons of followers like some on this platform.
Am I in for another 100? Not sure. (this is number 101)
Doing the work of writing and posting at least once a week has helped improve writing quality and has been a good discipline. In that way, it’s a worthwhile investment in self-improvement.
What is puzzles me the most is the 95%+ views generated via Google on almost all of my Medium posts. Some are 99%. If I understand the system, those don’t necessarily translate into paid dollars. Does that mean my tribe isn’t on Medium, and I need to focus elsewhere? Not sure.
The first time I hit the publish button here was on July 7th, 2020. As others have shared, it was a scary moment.

Last month (March 2021) was my best stats month with over 3,300 views and over 1,100 reads. Still…
