Thanks for your thoughtful reply. Everyone in my home works full time day jobs, so there isn't anyone to sit around waiting to sign. That is why CVS was an obvious choice.

Interestingly, I eventually got a phone shipped via FedEx, a competing delivery and logistics firm. The left it at my door. No muss no fuss.

I am also a regular Amazon shopper, again, never any muss or fuss.
